Rising Stars Ireland 2023 – A video production and photography project commissioned by film industry magazine Screen International to raise awareness of new and successful talent in the film making industry in Ireland and worldwide.
This video production was created as part of a joint venture between movie industry magazine Screen International and Irish film promotion agency Screen Ireland. Those filmed and photographed were the first recipients of the Rising Stars Ireland initiative, an annual awards event to introduce and celebrate the best new talent in the Irish film industry.
Video production project overview:
Scout multiple buildings of historic significance in greater Dublin to find one to use for the project’s full day video and photography shoot.
Film and interview all ten rising stars individually to incorporate in a video production highlighting their talents and incorporating photographic portraits of them done on the day of filming.
Because of the contrasting mix of its modern art gallery facilities, that complimented and contrasted with the castle’s older historic interiors, filming and photography was done at Rathfarnham Castle in Dublin, Ireland.
